Wednesday have done a deal to have the Children’s Hospital on their shirts for the next two seasons.

Following the footsteps of Barca and Villa, by forgoing the normal shirt sponsorship and having a charitable organisation on the front. Nice we are trying something different and giving something back to Sheffield.

It also looks good for the upcoming investment, if we don’t need the shirt money.

Right, first things first, Laws has signed a new contract, which is very good news. We need some stability at the club. Far too much chopping and changing. Although, after the comments he made yesterday, it seems that he wasn’t told the whole truth about what he had to work with and what was expected.

Apparently Deon is on his way out of the club, which is a shame. He’s going on loan to Charlton with a permanent move in January. It seems a bit weird, does he want to move or is it that is wages are very high in relation to the others and we need to get him off the wage bill. He replacement is looking like Slusarski from West Brom, in on loan. No mention of that move being made permanent. Probably just a stop gap until January.
