The Purchase Brothers have created a short film chronicling the escape of other resistance fighters from City-17. It takes place near the end of Half-Life 2.

Apparently cost only $500 to make. Here’s the first part. I’d recommend watching it in HD. You can also watch it on their site, here.

It’s short and sweet, but enticing enough for me to want to see more.

Oh, apparently this was deadly serious. Brett Ratner (director of X-Men 3) was wanting to helm it, but Activision have said “no”. Thank God.
